OUR AIM
MYCOBEES is using mycelium and mushroom extracts from local forests to keep honeybees alive and healthy
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A better immunity, less viruses, less pesticides: what if it's true?

A research team in the US, led by Stamets and Sheppard, has shown that the extracts of 4 fungi improved honeybee's health in a few weeks. As soon as the preliminary results were out, we created the citizen science project MYCOBEES to test whether the initial lab results he'd true for whole bee colonies in the field.
INTERESTED?
MYCOBEES is a citizen's project, that is, all field experiments will be done by skilled beekeepers who care for the health and wellbeing of their bees.
In practice, applicants are asked to test mushroom extracts on bee colonies following a scientific protocol and communicate their work and their results to the rest of the Mycobees community.

If you're interested, get involved, honeybees need you!
